This concept continues my exploration into abstract, colorful hero designs. I created it in Figma with supporting elements built in Adobe Illustrator, and it isn’t tied to a client or a live product. The direction takes inspiration from the kind of polished, futuristic visuals often used by tech companies in Silicon Alley in Manhattan. Even though this is a personal project, it reflects the type of creative approach commonly produced by companies that design websites for modern digital brands. The goal was to reimagine an older idea and push it into a more tech-driven, vibrant style.
I combined geometric shapes, fluid gradients, and clean typography to create a hero section similar to what you’d see from a New York City web design team or an experienced NYC web designer. Illustrator handled the polygonal centerpiece, while Figma was used to structure the layout and interface. The result mirrors the type of work you might expect from a New York website design company building a landing page for a tech-forward startup.
While this wasn’t built for any web dev agency or website design and development companies, it still reflects influences from those new york teams and the thoughtful layout choices common in NYC website design projects. The design also aligns with the clarity and polish expected from a website designer in New York working on bold, modern hero concepts. Overall, it captures the energy of web design in NYC and fits within the aesthetic that often defines innovative digital work across Manhattan.
