MadT Fuel Oil Service is a local heating oil company that serves residential neighborhoods across Queens and Long Island. The existing website was simple and dated, which made it hard to compete with larger fuel companies and did not reflect the professionalism of the business. The owner needed a modern online presence that would make it easier for customers to understand services, request deliveries, and trust the brand at a glance.
For this project pitch I approached it as a focused example of my website redesign services, tailored to a small business in Queens. The goal was to improve credibility, showcase core heating oil services, and guide visitors toward contacting the company or placing an order. I also wanted the redesign to support long term search visibility around terms like “website redesign services,” “web designer in Queens NY,” and “website designer Queens,” while still keeping the writing friendly and local.
The redesign was planned and built in WordPress using the Breakdance page builder so that future updates would be fast and affordable for the owner. I started by restructuring the homepage into clear, scroll friendly sections that highlight the company’s strengths. The hero area introduces MadT as a reliable, local fuel provider and uses bold typography, high impact imagery, and a direct call to action that encourages visitors to contact the team right away.
Below the hero, I created a clean, block based layout that explains key value points such as winterized heating fuel, metered deliveries, and responsive service. A set of service cards breaks down residential, commercial, and delivery offerings in a way that is easy for first time visitors to scan. I also included an area for featured projects and delivery photos to give the business a more visual, real world presence, which is especially important for small business web design services focused on trust and reliability.
To reinforce credibility, I designed a testimonial section with customer reviews and photos. This is followed by a “Why choose us” band that quickly communicates benefits and differentiators. The layout keeps calls to action present throughout the page so that homeowners in Queens and Long Island can request quotes or schedule service without hunting for a phone number.
